Richard Tomlinson: Court Artist and Illustrator

The late Richard Tomlinson's birthday was today, January 19th,
which is a great opportunity to show a selection of his fine artwork, from reportorial art to court art.
Below is a selection of works from
the Son of Sam and the Mafia to his lovely drawings of Mexico.
Richard was always drawing, whether it was a typewriter in the press room or his plant at home
he was a very dedicated and inspired artist.
You can also check out the Tumblr site dedicated to his wonderful artwork

    1. Thank you very much. The blog is just over 2 years old,
and was put up b/c most people rarely get a chance to see courtroom art
that is shown on TV. So it is posted here by several artists.
Then subsequently the artists collectively agreed to be part of a book
on courtroom art. That book is for sale on Amazon, published by CUNY Journalism Press.
Thank you again for your interest.
